Discover the extraordinary flavors of Panama Geisha coffee through a guided degustation led by a world-class barista who represented Panama at the World Coffee Brewers Cup 2024. This exclusive tasting experience takes you on a journey through some of the world's most sought-after specialty coffees. Your host Ytzvan made a career change 10 years ago to dedicate his life to coffee. Today he represents Panama in the world of filtered coffee and operates his own coffee roasting brand. He will personally teach you the secrets behind brewing the best coffee in the world. The experience begins with a reception at the Pulpa Specialty Coffee roastery where you'll tour the facilities and learn about the coffee roasting process. You'll then embark on a guided tasting of traditional Panamanian coffee varieties, followed by the highlight: a tasting of the legendary Panama Geisha variety, one of the most award-winning and exclusive coffee varieties in the world. The experience concludes with a curated dessert pairing designed to complement and enhance the complex flavor profiles of each coffee. Panama Geisha coffee is internationally renowned for its exceptional quality, delicate floral notes, and jasmine-like aromatics. Originally from Ethiopia but perfected in Panama's Boquete highlands, this variety consistently commands the highest prices at global coffee auctions.
