Your host Martha is passionate about salsa dancing and Latin culture. She has traveled the world for over 12 years, teaching, performing, and even winning salsa competitions. Join her and the Salsa Safari team for an unforgettable experience in Panama's historic Old Town. Meet at Salsa Safari Studio, located above Beauty and the Butcher in Casco Viejo. The welcoming atmosphere and fun instructors immediately put you at ease, making this the perfect environment for learning. Begin by learning the basic steps and fundamentals of salsa. We had several people joining us in Panama, and my husband and I thought that this would be a great experience for everyone, and it was BEYOND GREAT. First, I had an Uber mishap and chose the wrong "Beauty and the Butcher " that took us way off course, and it looked like we would end up missing the class. I contacted Martha, and she made adjustments to their schedule and made sure that we had the class. We were able to unwind with some Sangria, and then Miguel delivered the Full Experience. A Good Time Was Had By All. Thank you Martha and Miguel.

Salsa Safari is must-do in Panama! This salsa class was one of the highlights of my trip. We came in total beginners and left dancing salsa! Miguel and Alejandra are phenomenal instructors. They have a nice mix of talent, humor, and patience that instantly puts you at ease. From the moment the music started, they created an atmosphere that was welcoming, energetic, and fun. They broke the steps down in a way that made everything easy to follow. My 27-year-old son and I took the class together, and we were laughing and learning the whole time. If you want a lighthearted, cultural, and memorable experience in Panama, take this class. I wish we had time to go back for another one. Highly recommend!
