Our family has worked this land for three generations, and we are passionate about sharing the natural beauty and biodiversity of our countryside with visitors. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through landscapes dotted with ancient trees as we travel to the ranch. Upon arrival, you will meet your horse and take time to connect and feel comfortable before setting off. Our well-trained horses are suitable for riders of all skill levels, and we can tailor the experience based on your riding ability. Ride through lush trails where you may spot butterflies, tropical birds, and even howler monkeys in their natural habitat. The peaceful countryside offers stunning views and a chance to disconnect from the busy world. After your ride, hike to a hidden natural spring where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in crystal-clear water - a private paradise where you will likely be the only visitors. The experience includes a delicious traditional Panamanian lunch prepared with care, featuring homemade dishes and fresh natural juices. You will also have the opportunity to explore the working ranch and meet our friendly farm animals, including pigs, chickens, ducks, and our beloved ranch dogs. This is not a tourist attraction - it is an authentic glimpse into rural Panamanian life, perfect for those seeking a genuine connection with nature and local culture. Beautiful place. It was a very small group so we had the chance to tailor the experience. The river is so private no one else was there. Make sure to plan with time since it’s an hour away from the city. Panama’s traffic is insane.

The horseback riding itself was great, the horses were well behaved, the scenery was amazing, and it did not feel rushed. Don't take the pickup/drop off service, the children are coming along. It's fine but at one point I had a bad-smelling child in my lap because there weren't enough seats. Later I was left alone in the car with the children who were physically fighting. There is a lot of waiting, after the long drive, there is a delay in getting on the horses. After, a leisurely wait for lunch and chores. It's a peaceful place, but I was very bored or uncomfortable for 5 of the 7 hours i spent on the experience. Hi Laura! Great to know you enjoyed the horseback riding! My apologies for my Kids behaviour, Xavier just had a bad day and they usually are not in the ride.

Highly recommend this experience if you want to go off the beaten path and get outside the city. Wonderful attentive host, interesting stories, and you get to experience the life on a real ranch in Panama. I suggest letting the host know about your riding skill level, so that they can tailor the experience accordingly. We took it easy, since I am a beginner, but I imagine more advanced riders can get a more challenging experience.

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. My boyfriend and I had fairly little experience riding horses but decided to give it a shot. Our host greeted us with his two darling kids and they made the experience even more magical. Full of energy, they showed my boyfriend and I baby pigs, ducks and chickens on the ranch! They also had many friendly dogs on the property. The place was beautiful and the ride was very long, so worth the money spent. The lunch was also pretty big and exceptional! At the end, the host took us to a secret swimming spot and it was very beautiful too. Anna, great to know you enjoyed the time spent with us! Nice trip!

It is a very fun and unique experience. You should definitely do it! Very calm and fun. I greatly enjoyed the family, pets and swimming in the river. All of the animals are greatly loved and well taken care of. Fun!🥳
